History of the Catford Arts Trail

The Catford Arts Trail began in 2016, initiated by five local artists. Held over two weekends in September and October, the event showcased 75 artists and makers across 30 venues, including homes, studios, and public spaces in SE6.

The trail was a resounding success, attracting 9,170 visits and averaging 83 visitors per venue per day. Attendees appreciated the diverse and high-quality art, as well as the warm, friendly atmosphere in the venues. This event created a strong sense of community, bringing together artists, hosts, and visitors of all ages and backgrounds, and firmly establishing Catford as a lively center for the arts.

Catford Arts Trail 2024

Now in its ninth year, the 2024 Catford Arts Trail will be held on the 12th and 13th of October. We hope many visitors will support and join us to celebrate the great local talent on display.
